Firefox keyboard shortcuts summary The following shortcuts are virtually the same whether you're using a PC or Mac. Here is a quick reference list of the 45 top keyboard shortcuts in Firefox. Unlike the other toolbox-hosted tools, this shortcut does not also close the Web Console. Instead, it focuses on the Web Console's command line. To close the Web Console, use the global toolbox shortcut of Ctrl + Shift + I (Cmd + Opt + I on a Mac). Before Firefox 55, the keyboard shortcut was Ctrl + Shift + Q (Cmd + Opt + Q on a Mac). Starting in Firefox 71.
To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key, then release both keys. Mac menus and keyboards often use symbols for certain keys, including modifier keys:
On keyboards made for Windows PCs, use the Alt key instead of Option, and the Windows logo key instead of Command.
Some keys on some Apple keyboards have special symbols and functions, such as for display brightness , keyboard brightness , Mission Control, and more. If these functions aren't available on your keyboard, you might be able to reproduce some of them by creating your own keyboard shortcuts. To use these keys as F1, F2, F3, or other standard function keys, combine them with the Fn key.

Using Shortcuts
Keyboard Shortcut For Duplicating Tab | Firefox Support ..
This document uses the following format for listing shortcuts:
Example:
Command | Windows | Mac | Linux |
---|---|---|---|
Copy | Ctrl+C | Cmd+C | Ctrl+C |
To perform a command, press the buttons listed together at the same time. For example, to copy in Windows, press Ctrl and C at the same time.
Tip: The plus sign (+) means that you must press two keys surrounding the plus sign at the same time. If there is more then one plus sign (such as Ctrl+Shift+C), it means that all three buttons surrounding the plus sign must be pressed at the same time.
Abbreviations:
- Ctrl = Control key
- Cmd = Command key on the Macintosh keyboard
Note: Some keyboard shortcuts perform different functions based on cursor location (focus). For example, if you press Home on Windows while viewing a web page, Mozilla will move to the top of the web page. However, if you press Home on Windows while the cursor is in a text field, the cursor will go to the beginning of the text field.

Have used Family Tree Maker for many years, this problem just came up today. 'No internet connection or firewall may be blocking access'. Nov 30, 2017 I installed Ancestry's Family Tree Maker Mac 3 in Dec 2015. All went well until Mar 2016. I have been unable to Sync since that time. Whenever I try to sync I get the following message 'There is no connection to the Internet or a firewall is preventing Family Tree Maker from accessing the Internet. Check the Internet connection and try again'.
